Crushed Red Pepper

The heart and soul of our Artisan Chile Oils comes from our perfect blend of all-natural, premium red peppers. We use a fiery mix of both C. annuum and C. frutenscens chiles. These delicious varieties are hand-picked at the height of ripeness and then tied into traditional Ristras. After that, the blazing sun and hot summer breezes of California's Central Valley do the rest. Aside from their delicious, smokey flavor, these chiles are an excellent source of both Vitamin A and C.

 

Extra Light Olive Oil

This light, heart-healthy oil normally has a mild, slightly nutty flavor. But after La Llorona gets through with it, it's transformed into the perfect liquid heat.
This oil has a high smoking point so don't worry about adding it during the cooking process. It will work muy bien with all your high-heat recipes. Because it is a natural oil, please make sure that you refrigerate after opening.

 

Sesame Seeds

Sesame seeds may be the oldest condiment known to man dating back to as early as 1600 BC. We use the same ajonjolí our abuela used in her mole poblano. We lightly toast our seeds to add a rich, nutty flavor to our oils.
Not only are sesame seeds a very good source of copper and manganese, but they are also rich in calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorous, vitamin B1, and dietary fiber.
